A Gift Turned, Folded, and Hung

The peaceful one arrived at the "Honey Do House" a little after mid night last might.

It seemed like the moment he left last week everything started falling apart. Most of the light bulbs went out, the dryer stopped heating and we had an ant infestation.

Handy hubby spent most of the today sitting on the floor in the garage repairing our dryer, and at the same time, entertaining the 3 year old by letting him "help" so I could have a break.

1.  A gift turned is a bad dryer turned good dryer.

2. A gift folded is a pile of laundry that needs to be folded.

This shirt on this chair is normally a tough one to be thankful for but today I am honestly thankful, smile and sigh thankful that this shirt is hanging on the back of this chair.

3.  A gift hung is husband's work shirt and it is there because he is here.

  1. Oh, number 3 is beautiful. In the early years of our marriage, my husband worked out of town all. the. time. I completely identify. He is home. Sigh.
